| Each primary color has a separate plate, registered to align on the tee-shirt as the carosel spins the plates around. Each plate lays a color (lots of dots) on the shirt, creating multi-colored designs. |

| Registration is important in multi-colored silkscreens (on tee-shirts, as well as on paper) overlapping colors make up the total design. |
